- One Hour from Tokyo to the Noto
Alongside Komatsu Airport as the second gateway to the skies over Ishikawa, Noto Airport commenced operations in July of 2003. Air Nippon flies twice daily between Tokyo and the Noto taking approximately an hour between the two cities. It takes about 25 minutes by car to get to Noto Airport from Wajima city and 10 minutes from the Anamizu Kunogi Interchange, the terminus of the Noto Tollway.

- On June 21, 2005, the number of passengers that have traveled between Noto and Haneda reached 300,000 on 748 flights.
