The unusual festival performed by Koto-gumi (Old fellow in Town by calendar year, 48 or 49 years old) in Kawai-mach Wajima-shi. This festival beginning when is unclear, according to Shinto ritual performed already around Bunmei 8th year (1476) according to the document of Juzo shrine （National treasure） in Wajima,

■Sekibutsusan Festival

[DETAILS] - When we enter Sekibutsusan with the signal of a beat drum and climb a steep slope, there is a megalith (MAE DACHI) of height 3m and width 0.6m, small stone equals side by side. Which is assumed the symbol of Ohnamuchinomikoto and site of the religious service, and it is about time when it gathers before which did a Shinto straw festoon in a huge stone and possesses food and sake offered to the gods and prays for the good harvest in the year.

The city of Kanazawa produced most of the Japanese gold leaf, other than a gold leaf craft, by the process of the goldbeater and it is known as a production center of the "Oil absorbent paper". It is completed the gold leaf patterns that it designed by oneself to a black tea tray this time, and it is a challenge for the making of original tea tray.

Isaza is a Japanese ice fish (family of white goby, 5 to 6cm). Eating alive is famous gourmet for Isaza, it is said the spring fish and going upstream for laying eggs in a river of Noto region. The exhibition is held in which many utilize local resources areas in the long history of Noto, Noto region (four cities, five towns) and the entire venue. Therefore not any special pavilions.
If we emphasize it and say, local festivals and events, and rich coastline on three sides surrounded by water, abundant seafood, the traditional craft work represent by Wajima lacquer ware, and country's leading Wakura Onsen hot springs, in addition, more than anything "Faith Guests" to entertain the people of Noto travelers called "hospitality", such as the Pavilion and the entire region attractive Noto with every single resource.
Noto area is few areas where nature still stays in our country which economic growth goes ahead through drastically after the war, and manners and customs stay, and the heart of the person stays. Absolutely this area is appropriate home town in Japan.

Oshihara festival is laid a Keyaki (zelkova) tree board on a floor of the hall of worship in Hachiman shrine, and head of each house takes the seat, then they pray for bumper harvest and sound of health and they performed ritual ceremony beating a Keyaki tree board by stick of Japanese sumac. It is beating seventeen times by seven times. And after having ended, the tofu and the grated Japanese radish seasoned with rice and fermented soybean paste are eaten by parishioner all the members.
