As for Utasu shrine, the ancient mirror which found from riverside of Asano River has rabbit and the pattern of the dragon, and that was worshiped Udatsu God. This is said with beginning of Utasu shrine. Posthumously founder feudal lord Toshiie, they erected Udatsu Hachiman shrine and enshrined a divine spirit of Toshiie and assumed it feudal clan shrine. There is well in precincts deep inside named feudal lord Toshiie Sakabanoido that fifth generation load Tsunanori recovered for the illness. East geisha dedicated a dance and the traditional end of winter festival of February 3 scattered fortune beans.

When it became dusky, they put on the mask of ogre and wearing a straw rain cape and an apron, also they hold butcher’s knife and they threaten a small child and they are shouting “Is there any Amame?” , “Is there any sluggard”? And go around the neighborhood　house. Amame is the blister of bruise to keep taking on the hearth a seal of "the　sluggard" and it is a folk event it pays an admonition and cleansing of the misfortune

■Snowmen festival

Shiramine / Kuwajima district inhabitants make large and small snowmen, and it is filled up the district with a snowman. ■A vow of Shinto ritual (The heroic unique festival succeeded to traditionally)

It is heroic Shinto ritual performed on February 10 every year in Kaga-shi Sugao Ishibe Shrine. According to the tradition, a large snake lives in this ground, and it is said that an Shinto ritual was born to exterminate this. They make the large rope which I likened to a large snake when a festival approaches, and about 200 green bamboo is prepared. The young men of the white clothing slide down the green bamboo in a hand in the precincts, and the act of God flings it against a stone stairway and the stone pavement and breaks green bamboo exhaustively. When most of the green bamboo was broken, the young men draw out a large snake from a Shrine and throw it in from the top of the bridge to Daishouji-river, and the act of God is over entirely. A sightseer takes the broken green bamboo home with a sightseer freely and the kite is good and stops if I make a kite with this, and it is told the pain of the tooth if I do it on chopsticks when it stops

■Foodpia land

The foodpia land is the event that easy to participate in families and groups. Hearth village food stand and Ramen alley, there are able to taste of the winter of Ishikawa. The stage events are performed in Central Park and full of many people. Foodpia land familiar with hearth village, that is displayed 50 cookers of about one meter in length in a row and both sides can sit down. While a oyster (shelled) or a cuttlefish shipped directly from Noto, charcoal barbeque of the Japanese seafood products, you can enjoy the taste of Ishikawa. About 100 tents are pitched in the park, and the cooking that used the national various cooking ingredients such as Japanese food / Western food / Chinese food / ethnic lines up. The section there is a long line up every time. A famous shop comes over from the whole country from Sapporo, Kitakata and Hakata. The taste of their shop is so good. Please compare it. There is established specially installed stage in a place held developed various performances. Folk arts by a mini-concert by the singer or the local drum group are various contents. A room tent appears in a park. I take off shoes warmly in the tent and can make visitor at home slowly.

■The festival　of rising boat

The fishing boat of big and small more than 100 sets up a big catch flag for fishermen on the day of the celebration once in the year, and displays a ship and offered sacred sake with Sakaki leaf and celebrate traditional rising boat. In addition, the person concerned gathers in each association of the triangular fixed net and holds a lively drinking bout. It is the lunar New Year event of the fishing village. This event is began from the affairs of a feudal clan era, raising fishing boat from the beach during winter on February 11, and floats in the sea to pray for the big catch in the year. The character called KISHU as "good luck celebration same pronunciation as the farm village use KISHU. There is also limited to the shore of Ishikawa and Toyama. In the other prefectures, it called "ship celebration" or "a guardian deity of a ship festival".

If we emphasize it and say, local festivals and events, and rich coastline on three sides surrounded by water, abundant seafood, the traditional craft work represent by Wajima lacquer ware, and country's leading Wakura Onsen hot springs, in addition, more than anything "Faith Guests" to entertain the people of Noto travelers called "hospitality", such as the Pavilion and the entire region attractive Noto with every single resource.

Noto area is few areas where nature still stays in our country which economic growth goes ahead through drastically after the war, and manners and customs stay, and the heart of the person stays. Absolutely this area is appropriate home town in Japan.

Noto in these areas, as baby boomers the driving force behind today's dramatic economic development, and the family layer of the generation to take Japanese development in the future, and beside casual everyday divergent fatigue, tomorrow revitalize, to heal the mind and body as well as such people are apt to forgetful it "home town" to remind.
